Best players of Saudi Arabian SBL round 21 (by Hoops Agents)- March 27, 2023
The 37-year old power forward had a double-double of 28 points and thirteen rebounds, while his team edged out Al Taawoun (#12, 3-18) 93-91. Ittihad maintains the 7th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. Ittihad is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 10-11 record. In the team's last game Rhodes had a remarkable 83.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Ittihad's top player in his first season with the team. Mississippi State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rhodes is in league's top in rebounds (7th best: 12.2rpg) and averages solid 1.6bpg and 64.0% FGP. The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young American center Anthony McClain (211-C-1988) of Al Salam. McClain impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 35 points and 18 rebounds. Bad luck as Al Salam was edged by the higher-ranked Ohod (#4, 16-5) 80-79. Al Salam is still in a red zone at 8th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-14 record. McClain is a newcomer at Al Salam and it seems he did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders. The third best performed player last round was American Raymond Miller (204-C-1988) of Al Ansar (#10). Miller got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for fifteen rebounds . He was a key player of Al Ansar, leading his team to a 92-84 win against the higher-ranked Al Wehda (#6, 12-9). Al Ansar can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-17 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Miller has a very solid season. In 2 games in Saudi Arabia he scored 25.0ppg. Other top performing players last week: 4. Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) of Al Hilal - 23 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists 5. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy. The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3* (REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4* (2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3* (2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3* (3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
